*CRNTalk Digital Talk Radio with Martha Montelongo, September 2008 to August of 2010
* Talk Show Host KION 1460 AM, September 2008 to May of 2009
* From January 2001 to Oct 2004, Produced and Hosted Straight Talk with Martha, KION AM1460, a weekly three-hour program. At the end of the run, it was number one on KION’s weekend line-up, beating out Drudgereport, Kim Komando, MoneyTalk. Featured guests included dynamic, nationally recognized authors, columnists and pundits.
Started with one hour and expanded to three hours. KION AM1460  changed formats from talk to music. KION  AM1460 went back to talk format in 2008.

* Talk Radio show host and producer for “Make Sense with Martha,” a weekly two-hour political talk show on KOMY AM1340 radio, Santa Cruz, Monterey Salinas CA, Jan to December of 1999.


* Worked on statewide campaign for No on Proposition 93, which was on the CA Primary Ballot, February 2008. If it passed, it would have weakened term limits.

* Communications and outreach for CA Prop 90, November 2006

* Deputy-Press Secretary and Co-coordinator for Latino Affairs for the Prop 38 Yes Campaign, June to November of 2000.

* Field Coordinator for district elections campaign to qualify the measure for the ballot in the City of Santa Cruz, Winter/ Spring of 2000.

* CO-Host for “Bay Undercurrents,” a local one-hour cable TV program featuring state and local issues – 1999/2000.

*Financial Services Representative for United Resources, a subsidiary of Integrated Resources, selling tax sheltered annuities for client’s 403b retirement accounts and mutual fund and limited partnership investments. Was in top 13 sales rankings consistently, part of top ranked sales team nationally.


* Fill in host for Captain Dale Dye on KFI Radio

* Panelist for Santa Cruz’s Community TV program Voices in Democracy, discussing the first Presidential debate, and this week, a post election wrap-up on where do we go from here.
